What Is Covered
Week-in-week-out actors work in the following areas. Often, each of these process activities is engaged in a single 6-hour class. ACT’s prime objective is to develop actors who can survive and thrive in any professional circumstance.

Script Analysis/Structuring the Role
Understanding the intellectual mechanics of a script is essential to developing a role. Steven’s approach to script uncovers key structural elements that illuminate the author’s vision, as well as, revealing hidden creative touchstones.

Scene Work
Scene work is the proving ground for all aspects of the Ivcich Process. Steven uses scene work as the primary medium for coaching individual actors. It is not uncommon for actors to be working on up to three scenes at a time.

Working Actor-To-Actor
The Ivcich Process teaches actors to work as an ensemble. This accelerates learning and prepares actors to easily segue into professional work environments.

Personalizing Process/Creating Your Own Workflow
The Ivcich Process provides a platform for wide-ranging exploration of the creative process. This platform, in conjunction with Steven’s coaching, allows actors to craft highly personalized ways of working.

Expanding Expressive Range
Exploration and expansion of physical, vocal, verbal and imaginative range is integrated into every ACT activity.

On Stage/On Camera
There are differences between working on stage and in front of the camera. The Ivcich Process integrates both ways of working. ACT actors spend significant time working in both mediums.

Audition Skills
Developing audition skills is an ongoing part of the ACT program. Monologue, cold reading, MOS, improvisation, theater, film and TV audition techniques are all drilled week-in-week-out.
